What is a FlipBook?

A flipbook is a small book with a series of pictures.  When the pages are turned rapidly, the pictures animate a short video clip created at the Action FlipBooks booth.

How does Action FlipBooks work?

Guests enter the Action Flipbook studio area and a short video is filmed.  During the video,  guests may dance, wave, blow kisses or make up skits.  Guests are also welcome to use the     included props and signs.  The video is then played pack on the screen and if they like it, it’s sent to the printer.  Just a few minutes later, a custom FlipBook is created.

Are the FlipBook Covers Customized?

Yes!  We completely customize each cover for every event.  It is a high quality color cover that will last for years.  We can also customize the last page of your book too!

How many books can be made at an event?

Typically we average about 50 books per hour depending on the guests. Add a second cutter and we can produce up to 90 books per hour.  Add more stations and we have the ability to provide even more books.

What areas do you serve?

Based in Northern California, we serve worldwide.  There is no destination charge for events located in Northern California and Northern Nevada.  We have a second location in Southern California.

How many people can fit in a single FlipBook?

It comes down to how many guests you can get in front of the camera, typically 2-5 guests is a good number.  If using the Greenscreen Studio, you can fit 5-8 with room to spare.  What's the max you ask?  Currently the record is 38 . . . are you looking to break that record?

What’s needed to set up at my event?

We require an area of about 10’x10’ and two 6’ skirted tables that match your event décor as well as electricity.  A 15'x15' area is required if you plan on using our green screen backdrop technology.  If necessary we can provide the tables.  Outdoor covered events are ok.

Can you make “Save The Dates” or Christmas Cards?

Because the FlipBook is so unique, it makes a great Christmas card or “Save the Date”  A small sitting fee is charged and a per book cost for customized “Save the Dates” and holiday books. You can even send us a video file and we can convert it into a flipbook.

How do I reserve Action Flipbooks for my event?

Call 1-800-785-0260 and see if your date is available.  A 50% non refundable deposit is required and the remaining balance is due 7 days before the event date..

How much does a Action FlipBook station cost?

    Events typically are booked by the hour with a minimum of 2 hours.  Weekends have as much as a 4 hour minimum.  We offer additional services and can customize each to fit individual client needs.  We accept all payment methods and credit cards.
